(Sorry for using Midnightstorm a bit, but it was necessary here) Lilykit wasted no time when her father told her she could go outside. He was sure to warn her not to leave camp, for their territory was dangerous to wander in alone, even for a warrior. She shivered as the cold morning air flowed through her thin pelt, but that didn't delay her long. She spotted a small bug, some kind of grey colored one the size of a claw. As she exhaled, her breath made it roll across the dirt. It was fascinating for her, so she followed it curiously, hoping her brother wouldn't squash it.

Ah freedom. It felt good. Daily being cooped up near Mintstar wasn't much fun at all, and being out of the nursery was an adventure! Excitedly, He looked around at the camp, taking in everything. Silverkit flicked his tail before there was a crunch and he ran into Lilykit. "Owwww! Watch where you're walking!" He mewed, then looked at his paw. "What did I step on?" Silverkit blinked, looking at it. "Is-Was that a bug?" He shuddered, wiping his paw on the ground. |

Lilykit's eyes turned to accept a sad look, like she had just nearly caught a good piece of prey, but it had barely escaped. The kit sighed, and her tail drooped, but only for a few seconds. "Mmmhmm. I dare you to lick it off!" Lilykit challenged her brother, hoping he would take her dare so she could tell him how disgusting he was. She didn't expect him to do it, but no cat was watching. Lilykit shook her pelt, a bit of dust floating away from her as she did it. Lilykit gazed into Silverkit's eyes, unblinking.

"You want me to do WHAT!?" He hissed, surprised. He looked at his dirty paw. What did beetles taste like? He never had eaten one..Maybe they tasted good. Cautiously, the silver kit lifted his paw to his muzzle and licked a little off. Silverkit immediatley retched. "It tasted like mousedung!" He mewed angrily, glaring at his sister. "Next time, you eat it. Or else I'll tell Mintstar you made me eat a bug!" {I'm horribly museless right now. ><} |

Her eyes widened. "You wouldn't!" The idea seemed like one that could happen. Lilykit was slightly inclined to try the bug to, but wasn't sure if she really wanted to. "Let's go see if we can get into the medicine cat den! There were tons of cool things there. Her tail twitched with apparent excitement.
